About the Owner

I started my own health journey with childhood obesity, high cholesterol, and pre-diabetes. At a young age, my family and I were referred to a dietitian and it made a world of difference! I use nutrition & lifestyle changes to stay off medications and feel my best to this day. This helps me do the things I love like cooking and hiking with my rescue pups. I also know the struggle of managing my weight alongside chronic health issues like autoimmune disease and endometriosis. With good nutrition and self care, I have learned to thrive in the face of crippling health problems. Even though I still struggle at times, I have peace of mind that the food I eat helps my body function well. Restrictive diets can cause serious long term problems because your gut is central to your health. I am passionate about teaching others how the body actually works. If I can live well, so can you!

Areas of interest: IBS, endometriosis, nutrigenomics, stool testing.
